China's inventions

Have you ever wondered how important the Chinese people are? Well they are quite important. Because of them, we can't have the things that were made in China. Most of our imported products today are made in China. In fact, most of their inventions have helped a lot of people around the world. Some of their inventions are still being used today.

In 3000 B.C. the Chinese workers discovered how to make Bronze, Bronze is produced by mixing copper and tin. The world's first clock was invented by Yi Xing, a Buddhist monk and a mathematician of the Tang Dynasty. The clock operated by dripping water steadily on a wheel so it can make a full revolution every 24 hours. In 21 A.D., the Chinese invented the umbrella. This is a great invention for mankind especially for the people who are in the typhoon belt. Around the 14th century, the Chinese invented the Abacus. It is made up of wooden frame with parallel rods. In 105 A.D., Ts'ai Lun invented the most proper paper. Around the 9th century, the Chinese invented the paper money. Its original name was "flying money" because it was too light that it can be blown out of one's hand. Most countries around the globe are using paper money as of today.

China is not only a land rich in culture and history, they're also rich in creativity and hard work. Their innovative inventions made a great impact to us. It made our lives easier. China is now one of the most progressive country in the world. I hope that the Chinese can also be respected and not neglected.
